If (position will be announced) is the Chairperson of Class jerseys, what is Darlene Wadler’ role in this?
Darlene Wadler is database specialist. A database specialist is someone who find and maintains records of all class members. A database specialist works with the Alumni Relations to ensure that the database is up-to-date.
Do we have a database specialist? Yes, we do. In fact, we have a database specialist! Database specialist is Darlene Wadler. One of their jobs is to ask members if they would like to order a class jersey. Once the orders are tallied, they send the information to (position will be announced), class jersey chairperson, who will be involved with the design, order and distribution of class jerseys.
What is the difference between confirmation and completion of the members?
Some non-members of Class of 1994 graduated in 1994 and their names appeared on the Class of 1994 database list. Also, members of Class of 1994 graduated in different years and their names are not on the Class of 1994. Darlene Wadler, database specialist has to ask them to confirm that they are 94ers. Those who confirmed that they are not 94ers will be removed from the 1994 database and those whose names are not on the 1994 list confirmed they are 94ers will be added to the 1994 database. Darlene is working with the Alumni Relations to ensure that their database is updated.
Completion is to confirm that members’ contact information is up to date and respond through email to prove that their email addresses are good to use. Then, you are on!
How can I contact Darlene Wadler if I have questions regarding my name on the list or my contact information?
You can send her a message through their inbox on Facebook (Darlene Wadler) or you can email to Darlene.
If my contact information is changed after the reunion, can I still contact Darlene?
Yes, you can. She will continue to work with the Alumni Relations office at Gallaudet to ensure that the database stays updated after the reunion.
Is my contact information being kept confidential?
Yes. Your contact information is not shared with anyone except for the database specialists. Alumni Relations office at Gallaudet, Reunion chairperson and registration chairperson.
